Things have been changing at Stellantis over the past few months. The group has practically eliminated all models equipped with a V8, and electrification is now at the heart of every project. So, it’s safe to say that we did not expect to see the Jeep Wrangler 392 make a return to the market in 2025.

Indeed, the manufacturer had announced a final edition for 2024 with 300 units for Canada and 3,000 units for the rest of the world. However, the demand was so strong that Jeep decided to bring back the Wrangler 392 for the 2025 model year, news that might disappoint collectors. This is not the first time Stellantis has adopted such a strategy, as we remember that the production of the Dodge Durango was also extended despite its announced market withdrawal.

The Most Powerful Jeep Wrangler

In case you didn’t know, the number 392 refers to the engine displacement in cubic inches. In other words, the American manufacturer's SUV is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 engine that produces 470 horsepower. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The power is transmitted to all four wheels, allowing the Jeep Wrangler 392 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds, which is very fast for a vehicle of this size.

As for the final edition, it will also return for 2025 and will feature unique elements such as Final Edition logos and 17-inch wheels. These wheels will be mounted on 35-inch BFGoodrich tires. However, Jeep has decided to remove several elements that were available on the 2024 final edition to ensure its exclusivity.

The price range for the model and its exact launch date are not yet known. However, it will be possible to order the 2025 Wrangler 392 by the end of the year, according to the American manufacturer.
